Associate Recruiter


Group O is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Associate Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team. This entry-level role will primarily focus on high-volume recruiting for call center positions, ensuring a consistent pipeline of quality candidates to support our fast-paced operations. You’ll also assist with recruiting for other hourly and frontline roles across the organization. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with hiring managers and candidates to ensure a seamless hiring experience from start to finish.

Beyond sourcing and interviewing, you'll play an important part in keeping the recruiting engine running smoothly by supporting a variety of administrative tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for someone early in their recruiting career who wants to gain hands-on experience, learn full-cycle recruitment, and grow within a supportive and fast-moving team.


Key Responsibilities


Essential Functions:
  • Supports all aspects of the recruiting, hiring, and on-boarding process in multi-state locations
  • Supports the recruiting team by managing open requisitions and providing assistance of administrative duties
  • Coordinates temporary staffing needs for the local and remote operations and manages interactions with the staffing agencies
  • Post open positions through applicant tracking system (ATS) and on a variety of online job boards, with professional organizations, and in other position-appropriate venues
  • Track and update all pertinent applicant and interview data in ATS
  • Source candidates through various recruiting sources
  • Attend job fairs, college & community events, and industry/professional related networking events
  • Research creative sourcing options to ensure an ample pool of qualified candidates
  • Review applicants to evaluate if they meet the position requirements
  • Conduct pre-screening interviews, schedule in-person interviews, and extend employment offers
  • Facilitate background checks, drug screens and administer skills assessments
  • Perform all tasks according to local, state, and federal labor laws and guidelines (EEO/OFCCP)
  • Maintain/update required Recruitment Department reports as needed and assigned
  • Assist with Recruiting-related projects
Secondary Functions:
  • New employee orientations; other HR training programs
  • Clerical duties including filing, assembly of orientation and training materials, and HR-related administrative projects

Job Qualifications


Education/Certifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Experience:
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a Recruiting-related role
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organization and time management skills
  • Problem solving
  • Demonstrated ability to manage projects/initiative simultaneously
  • General knowledge of employment laws and practices
  • Must be able to work on sensitive issues with discretion and a high level of commitment to confidentiality
