Description

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll for all employees.
• Calculate employee wages, overtime, and deductions.
• Process bonuses, commissions, and other forms of compensation.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll tax laws.
• Prepare and file payroll tax reports.
• Handle year-end reporting, including W-2s and 1099s.
• Maintain accurate payroll records and employee files.
• Update employee information as needed (e.g., new hires, terminations, changes in salary or benefits).
• Ensure proper documentation for payroll transactions.
• Operate and maintain payroll systems and software.
• Implement updates and changes to the payroll system as needed.
• Ensure data integrity and security within the payroll system.
• Generate payroll reports for management and auditing purposes.
• Conduct payroll analysis to identify trends and issues.
• Provide recommendations for payroll process improvements.
