Description
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including lighting, circuits, breakers, outlets, and emergency systems.
Diagnose electrical issues and ensure timely, safe, and code-compliant repairs.
Perform routine preventive maintenance on facility electrical infrastructure and related systems.
Assist with installation of new electrical equipment and support minor construction or renovation projects.
Respond to and prioritize maintenance service requests in a timely and professional manner.
Collaborate with other facilities team members to support HVAC, plumbing, and general maintenance tasks as needed.
Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and inspections completed.
Ensure compliance with NFPA, OSHA, and all local, state, and federal safety regulations and codes.
Participate in on-call rotation for emergency maintenance issues.
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in commercial or healthcare electrical maintenance.
Working knowledge of electrical codes, blueprints, and schematics.
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Experience in a healthcare setting.
Education:
High school diploma or GED required; vocational training or technical certification in electrical systems strongly preferred.
Valid electrician license or journeyman certification (if applicable in your state) preferred.
