Job Summary/Basic Function:

Wheaton College (MA) invites applications for a part-time instructor of Women’s and Gender Studies for the Fall 2025 academic semester to teach one or both of the courses listed below:


WGS 101 – Introduction to Women’s Studies (catalog description*)
Meeting days/time: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 2:00 PM – 3:20 PM

WGS 102 – Introduction to LGBT+ Studies (catalog description*)
Meeting days/time: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:30 AM – 10:50 AM

Minimum Qualifications:
Master’s in Women’s Studies, Gender Studies, or adjacent field.


Preferred Qualifications:
Ph.D. in Women’s Studies, Gender Studies, or adjacent field.

The salary for this position will be commensurate with the qualifications, education and experience.
