The Field Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless execution of installation projects and customer satisfaction. This multifaceted position is responsible for overseeing installations, addressing customer concerns, supervising and training a dynamic team – both Kastle-employee technicians and partner subcontractors, fostering collaboration across departments, and efficiently managing job costs. The incumbent will work closely with Project Management team in planning, scheduling and coordinating activities within installation to ensure that Kastle system installations and services are delivered accurately and on time, and that these services meet or exceed Kastle quality and client expectations



Responsibilities

Installation Oversight (40%)

· Oversee installation processes and maintain real-time situation awareness.

· Address escalated calls or issues involving installers and customers, researching causes and

solutions to meet customer expectations.

· Monitor team productivity and make necessary adjustments to optimize performance.

· Oversee Quality Control (QC) of jobs completed by techs and subcontractors to ensure that all

installations under supervision meet to the high standards set by Kastle and supply feedback to

management for continuous improvement.


People Supervision & Training (20%)

· Assist scheduler with daily work schedules to ensure comprehensive installation coverage.

· Assist Management with daily, weekly, and monthly status reports on employee performance,

assisting with corrective actions when needed.

· Coach and provide training to staff on new processes, procedures, products, and tools on site.

· Provide constructive feedback to Installation Techs and partner subcontractors engaged in Kastle installation projects to drive quality and accuracy of installations. · Supervise the team during assigned shifts or assigned territories as determined by business needs.

 

Collaboration / Advisory Role (20%)

· Collaborate with various levels of management across departments to resolve inter-departmental customer issues related to installation. · Maintain a deep understanding of all installation contract requirements and regulations. · Provide support to client services and sales teams as needed. · Attend client meetings to offer valuable insights and guidance.

 

Job Costs Management (20%)

· Support Project management by verifying the ordering of materials and reviewing orders for efficiency. · Support with Maintaining inventory of tools, equipment, and individual tool issues. · Asit management with Reviewing timesheets and allocating costs effectively.



Qualifications



REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· 10+ years of experience in the alarm, access control, CCTV, and Networking.

· Subject Matter Expert of all Kastle products.

· Technical expertise in installation tools, equipment, and technology, including electronic testing equipment, hand and power tools, Advanced Networking, Computers, Alarm systems, Access Controls, and CCTV, basic programming.

· Solid understanding of PIR technology, Doppler theory, and AC/DC theory.

· Thorough knowledge of installation techniques.

· Knowledge of building codes pertaining to construction, fire, and electrical systems.

· Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams. · Proven experience in installation oversight and field supervision.

· Knowledge of job cost management and resource allocation.

· Familiarity with installation contract requirements and industry regulations.

· Proficiency in report preparation and analysis.

 

PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

· High School Diploma or Equivalent

· Certification in Project Management a plus
