Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and monitor lab and plant quality systems in alignment with ADS Quality System
  • Conduct lab sample testing and provide feedback (approx. 40% of weekly duties)
  • Support and facilitate internal and external audits
  • Lead and participate in Continuous Improvement (CI) projects, dedicating ~5 hours weekly
  • Follow up on Corrective Actions (CAs) and ensure timely resolution
  • Conduct quality training and promote a culture of quality across the plant
  • Perform regular inspections and ensure compliance through line and yard walks
  • Oversee resin sampling procedures and instrument calibration
  • Generate compliance documentation and respond to field complaints as needed

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or equivalent work experience in a related field
  • Able to work weekends or off shifts as needed
  • Willingness to travel (up to 10%) 

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of quality control and assurance principles
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, especially plastics
  • Effective leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong time management and work ethic
  • Excellent troubleshooting and root cause analysis abilities
  • Ability to train and communicate effectively across teams
