Title: Electrical Engineer

Job Description: This exciting new role provides electrical engineering and design services to all activities and tenants for a broad range of facilities. It includes many customer activities over a sizable geographical region with project ranging from administrative and housing facilities to very complex industrial and operational facilities.

Pay range: GS-12

Duties include:

  • Electrical design and evaluation
  • Design support of architectural and engineering (A/E) Contracts
  • Design management coordination including coordination efforts with other engineers and architects involved in multi discipline projects.
  • Construction support including post construction award service which include review and approval of contractors' submittals to confirm compliance with contract specific actions.
  • Electrical engineer community support to the Client Regional Office which involves utilizing your own expertise to consult with and support other engineers.

Requirements :
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer
  • At least 5 years experience in relevant field
  • Ability to complete 80 hours of Continuous Learning Points (CLPs) every two (2) years. Training requirements are a condition of employment.
