Position Summary:
Henderson Foundation is seeking an exceptionally organized Foundation Administrator for a temporary, part-time position. The ideal candidate is available to work 28 hours/week from August-December 2025. This position is ideal for a Master of Business Administration student or individual with accounting experience who is looking for a part-time, flexible position. Background and reference checks are required.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include: donation processing and acknowledgements, accounts payable and receivable, and database management and reporting. The Foundation Administrator may provide administrative support-including scheduling and minutes for board meetings, office management, donor correspondence and reports, and other related duties.
- Ensure donor data accuracy, including inputting, updating, maintaining, and retrieving donation and constituent data, reports and records using Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT and Financial Edge NXT
- Manage monthly reconciliation of donations and coordinate information requests for annual audit
- Provide general bookkeeping assistance, to include processing invoices for payment and maintaining records of approval process in Blackbaud
- Manage scheduling and materials preparation for board meetings, reports, events, and special projects
- Perform a wide variety of administrative tasks including the drafting and editing of donation acknowledgement letters, board minutes, reports, and other materials
- Help students with foundation scholarship applications, including assisting other team members with maintaining records in the scholarship content management system, student and donor notification, as needed
- Maintain foundation files; help plan, coordinate, and maintain donor reports, income and expense budgets for various internal and external campaigns and events
- Maintain confidentiality and provide excellence service through courteous, informed, accessible, approachable, and professional engagement with alumni and friends, faculty, staff, and students

General Days/Hours: Monday - Friday, 28 hours per week
8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Part-time hours to be determined with applicant)
