Position Summary:
The Sales Support Specialist plays a critical role in supporting the sales team by ensuring seamless administrative, operational, and customer-facing processes. While not responsible for selling or generating revenue directly, this position enhances sales efficiency and effectiveness through detailed coordination, CRM management, and proactive problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Provide day-to-day administrative assistance to the sales team, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and coordinating client communications.
- CRM and Data Management: Maintain accurate records in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce), including updating account information, tracking sales activities, and generating reports as needed.
- Proposal and Document Preparation: Assist in creating and formatting sales proposals, contracts, and other customer-facing documents.
- Customer Support Coordination: Serve as a liaison between sales, clients, and internal teams to address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Reporting and Analytics: Generate and distribute regular sales performance reports, pipeline updates, and operational dashboards to sales leadership.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline sales operations and improve team efficiency; support the implementation of new tools and workflows.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in sales support, customer service, or administrative role.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting a B2B sales team.
- Familiarity with contract management or proposal generation tools.
- Understanding of sales performance metrics and reporting.
This is a 1099 Contract position and 100% remote #Virtual
