Position Overview:
We're seeking a detail-oriented Import/Export Specialist to manage international shipment workflows, ensure compliance with trade regulations, and support operational excellence. The role demands precision in documentation, cross-functional coordination, and proactive problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate end-to-end import operations — from order placement through customs clearance to final delivery.
• Prepare, review, and submit accurate documentation (invoices, bills of lading, customs declarations, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs laws, and company policies.
• Manage the preparation and submission of all necessary import documentation, including invoices, bills of lading, and customs declarations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to ensure smooth import operations.
• Communicate effectively with internal departments and external partners regarding import status and any issues that may arise.
• Prepare reports and updates for management to support decision-making and strategic planning. Enter and manage master data in ERP or logistics systems.
• Identify and resolve recurring issues related to the import process, escalating complex matters to senior management as needed.
• Ensure that all import-related administrative tasks, such as filing and reporting, are completed accurately and on time.

Qualifications:
• Minium 2 years of experience in import management or logistics, with a strong understanding of customs regulations and import procedures.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or similar.
• Fluent in Dutch and English
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in reporting and compliance.
