The Advanced Services Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, growth, technical expertise and management of the Central Region Advanced Services NDT group. This role involves formulating and implementing strategies for sustainable and profitable growth for advanced services in the Texas downstream market. Additionally, the Advanced Services Manager collaborates with other Aegeus teams, provides technical expertise, builds/maintains client relationships, and is accountable for the department’s economic performance and safety.
Responsibilities
Oversee all aspects of operations for Advanced Services, specifically PAUT and GUL, in the central downstream market.
Develop and implement business development strategies to expand the Aegeus Inspections central downstream market presence and drive substantial growth.
Formulate the annual business plan; budget and monitor adherence to the plan and initiative corrective actions as required.
Develop, maintain, and foster relationships with existing and new clients to support and growth business development for advanced services specifically in the central region downstream market.
Provide technical expertise, direction and guidance to clients and employees for applications in advanced NDT methods.
Regularly monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress against business objectives, growth strategies, and market penetration.
Prepare and present regular performance reports to the Regional Vice President and executive team on the advanced services central downstream business performance.
Review and monitor all expenses including labor utilization for the department to ensure EBITDA performance meets expectations.
Responsible for the department profit and loss statements and economic performance.
Responsible for HR, Safety, Quality, and Radiation Safety program compliance; work together with department leaders to ensure operational excellence.
Handle high level customer inquiries and issues, providing effective Aegeus Inspections solutions and maintaining a positive company image.
Recruit and retain top talent to ensure the growth and success of the department while managing financial performance.
Manage all subordinates to ensure they thrive, including employee retention, review, and development.
Identify and mitigate potential risks to the department, including financial, operational, and compliance risks.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, industry associations, and community organizations to promote Aegeus Inspection services and solutions.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings
Perform job walks and site visits as necessary.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
10+ years of NDT experience to be able to understand and articulate applicable Advanced NDT techniques to be used for customer solutions.
8+ years of experience in an industrial, petrochemical, refining, or downstream advanced NDT and inspection markets are required.
Successful candidates must have a proven record of accomplishment, showing business impact and creative thinking as well as established customer and employee relationships in the downstream Texas NDT market.
