Responsibilities

Join a team that's advancing the future of geospatial technology. In this role, you'll work at the intersection of imagery, data processing, and mapping innovation to deliver high-accuracy aerial mapping products that support infrastructure across the country.

 

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about aerial imagery, orthomosaicking, and photo editing, with a sharp eye for accuracy and a strong foundation in geospatial workflows. Experience in camera calibration, seamline editing, aerial triangulation, and raster data generation is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and analyze aerial geospatial data with a focus on accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project specifications and industry standards
  • Classify LiDAR point clouds
  • Compile mapping features from LiDAR point clouds
  • Compile mapping features from orthophotography
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews to verify data integrity and adherence to technical requirements
  • Take on additional duties as needed to support team success

 



Qualifications

  • Proven reliability, integrity, and ability to contribute to a collaborative team environment
  • Strong technical aptitude with one or more of the following tools and technologies:
    • TerraSolid (TerraPhoto, TerraScan, TerraModeler)
    • Trimble Inpho
    • Agisoft
    • Orthophotography (highly preferred)
    • LiDAR classification and 3D feature extraction
    • CAD (AutoCAD / MicroStation)
    • GIS
    • Mapping from LiDAR or imagery
  • Technical knowledge of data calibration techniques and accuracy verification techniques is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to take direction and give feedback
