Position Summary:

Individual is responsible for building, wiring, and testing electrical or electronic equipment according to detailed schematics, blueprints, and specifications, in support of co-workers and customer needs for products and services provided by the company and coordinate these efforts with other company departments when needed. Hiring experienced Electrical Assembly Technician w/2-5 years of previous experience.

Primary Duties:

  • Create, build, test and install panels.
  • Build pneumatic assemblies and electrical panels to UL508A specification.
  • Read and assemble per electrical schematics or drawings, blueprints, or work orders.
  • Assemble electrical subassemblies, control panels, wiring harnesses, circuit boards, and system components.
  • Perform troubleshooting.
  • Manage appropriate documentation of projects.
  • Assist with IPS builds and installations.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments.

Basic Requirements:

  • Must be able to read electrical drawings.
  • Have a basic knowledge of tools & machinery such as, cut-off saw, drill press, automated tapping machine, grinder, hand tools, etc.
  • Some college preferred, and/or one-year related experience or training. Experience in lieu of education is acceptable.
  • 1-5 years of relevant experience in electrical or electronic assembly a plus.
  • Must be over the age of 18 for this position.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

  • Ability to sit, stand, walk, and drive. Job requires frequent lifting up to 70 pounds, stooping, reaching above shoulder level, pushing, pulling, constantly walking/standing on cement flooring, and climbing ladders as needed.
  • Work environment may vary including warehouse containing moving equipment, fluctuating temperature and inventory in various storage arrangements, office work, manufacturing, machine shops, agricultural operations, and any other specific business operations of current or potential customers.

Salary:

$29-$36/hour, depending on experience.
