We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Training & Development Specialist to join our HR team reporting to one of our Sr HR Generalists. This role will be pivotal in developing and designing a comprehensive training approach. You will work closely with our technical training program team to enhance our onboarding process for new talent and refresh the skills of senior team members. You will also ensure that production and support roles, including engineering, supply chain, logistics, customer services, sales, HR, and IT, receive ongoing training to keep their skills current.

Key Responsibilities

  • LMS Implementation & Management: Lead the design, improvement, and optimization of our Learning Management System (LMS). Work with all levels of the organization to identify training needs and solutions.
  • Training Strategy: Build a scalable training framework for onboarding, compliance, and upskilling across departments (production, engineering, logistics, HR, IT, etc.). Coordinate training skills assessments and proficiency programs.
  • Global Collaboration: Coordinate training initiatives with corporate teams in the United States and Brazil.
  • Digital Transformation: Transition from several systems, including manual/spreadsheet-based tracking to a fully digital & auditable training system.
  • Compliance & Audit Readiness: Maintain training documentation aligned with ISO and customer requirements.
  • Local Collaboration & Partnerships: Coordinate and partner with external agencies such as:

  2. American Association for Industrial Management (AAIM)
  3. The Quality Coach
  4. American Welding Society (AWS)
  5. Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM)
  6. Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM)
  7. Kone Cranes
  8. Resolution Consulting
  9. Plum

Requirements:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Communications, Education, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in LMS implementation and administration.
  • Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Experience working with corporate teams across national and global geographies.
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and with external training partners.

Preferred:

  • Experience with Paylocity, Workday, or UKG LMS platforms.
  • Background in manufacturing or union environments.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards, compliance training, and digital learning tools.
  • Certifications: SHRM-CP, PHR, APTD, or equivalent.
