Job Summary
The Associate Vice President for Enrollment Management provides the vision, strategic direction and management oversight for the Enrollment Management Units including Undergraduate Admissions, Recruitment, Graduate and Professional Student Enrollment, Prospective & New Student Programs, and UK Visitor’s Center. Reporting to the Vice President for Student Success, this position will work closely with university leadership, including the Executive Vice President for Finance and Administration, Provost, Deans, and others, to develop both a long-term plan and a yearly implementation cycle. The position will lead an integrated admission and recruitment strategy providing program and unit analysis, budget oversight and efficiency, data analysis, management and direction of a staff of 50+, and coordination across and throughout campus, including the college-based recruitment strategies. The position will serve as the institution’s leader on admissions and recruitment, including sitting on appropriate University committees and serving as a collaborative and engaged member of the Student Success team.

Student Success will, from the time of early college outreach to graduation and beyond, support students in living a life of meaning and purpose. From a student-centered framework, our practice will be grounded in peer-reviewed literature, national best practices, and data-informed decision making. Collaborating with the campus and community, Student Success will work through a holistic lens to support a community of learners in achieving success.
