Job Summary
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) in the Neurosurgery clinical space will work in conjunction with physician and clinical staff partners to ensure efficient and effective care in the clinic setting.
This role will augment both new and existing patients and will help open access to provide care for the UKHC Neurosurgery patient population. Population focus is care of patients with intracranial diagnoses and will include care of pediatric as well as adult patients.
The APP has a strong foundation in evidenced-based practice and education and has a responsibility for ensuring an environment of safe quality care.
The APP demonstrates an advanced level of medical and nursing knowledge, clinical and technical competency, sound clinical judgment, professionalism as it relates to interpersonal and general communication skills, timely and compliant documentation, and takes responsibility for ongoing professional development and competency validation.
