Overview

  • Assist with participant recruitment, participant payment (e.g., ClinCard) and tracking, and interface (e.g., answering questions, following up with non-responders).
  • Provide team with military-relevant information on the study population.
  • Assist with development and implementation of leadership training.
  • Develop materials such as packaged training materials and communications of findings for dissemination for multiple audiences.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field AND 1 year of relevant experience or

  • Equivalent combination of training and experience

  • 1 - 3 years of relevant research experience

  • Experience working with the military community

  • Knowledge of military culture

  • Experience using Microsoft Office programs

  • Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Knowledge and application of gathering, compiling, and reporting research information

  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, writing and proofreading skills.

  • Knowledge of ethical human-subject research

  • Ability to exercise discretion when dealing with issues of a sensitive nature and to maintain research integrity

  • Demonstrated ability to be self-motivated, to prioritize effectively and achieve deadlines



Qualifications



  • Master’s degree in relevant field such as public health, psychology, sociology, or social work

  • Experience working with or supporting military communities, particularly the National Guard

  • Experience with survey data collection

  • Experience with qualitative data collection (e.g., focus groups, interviews)

  • Ability to gather, compile, analyze and maintain, in a range of formats, information from a variety of sources, including research publications, web sources, and internal and external contacts

  • Experience with IRB compliance requirements

  • Experience using REDCap survey software

  • Experience using SPSS software

  • Driver’s license
