Job Summary
The Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology is seeking a highly motivated, professional Research Regulatory Specialist II to contribute to the variety of perspectives and excellence of our department and to assist the faculty and staff of our research team. Some of the major position responsibilities of this position will include:
Scientific Concepts and Research Design
Ethical and Participant Safety Considerations
Investigational Products Development and Regulation
Clinical Study Operations
Study and Site Management
Data Management and Informatics
Successful candidates will possess effective oral and written communication. Organization, attention to detail, time management, and ability to multi-task. Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Work independently as appropriate and collaborate with colleagues.
Skills / Knowledge / Abilities
Knowledge of regulatory requirements for human subject research, including Good Clinical Practice (GCP), Responsible Conduct of Research, NIH and FDA regulations and procedures. Effective oral and written communication. Organization, attention to detail, time management, and ability to multi-task. Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Work independently and navigate institutional resources.
Does this position have supervisory responsibilities? NoPreferred Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree and at least 2 years of related experience. Research certification (SOCRA, ACRP, etc.) preferred.
