The Department of Medicine, Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology, and Nutrition at the University of Pittsburgh is looking to fill a Postdoctoral Associate position in the lab of Dr. Jami Saloman.
The candidate will be conducting research in the area of pancreatic neurobiology. The specific project will focus on catecholamine signaling in the regulation of the exocrine pancreas.
Dr. Saloman’s lab is seeking competitive candidates who have recently earned a Ph.D. and/or MD degree and possess effective written and verbal communication skills as well as outstanding critical thinking and problem-solving skills. A Ph.D. must have a focus in neuroscience and visceral inflammation. The salary is commensurate with experience and based on current NIH guidelines.
