We are responsible for the development and support of one of the core functionalities on our main DHL website (), specifically the . This functionality enables the daily tracking of hundreds of thousands of packages, playing a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction. Our team operates within an agile environment (Scrum) and is composed of a diverse, international group based in the Czech Republic, Germany and India.


As a Senior Test Engineer, you will be a member of our agile team of six. We maintain a balanced approach between manual and automated testing, with a strong commitment to increasing automation in our processes. While manual testing remains a significant aspect of our current project, your contributions will be essential in ensuring the quality of our deliverables.

  • Contribute to the quality of the team’s delivery by creating and executing both manual and automated test cases.
  • Timely defect reporting and validation after deployments.
  • Collaborate with the team on improving the test automation framework.
  • Ensure clarity in reporting defects and discussing testing strategies.
  • Daily use of developer tools for effective diagnostics and analysis.

Ready to embark on the journey? Here’s what we are looking for:

  • Proficiency in Manual Web Testing: Expertise in manual testing of web pages is essential.
    • Experience with utilizing mock data as part of the testing process.
    • Familiarity with screen readers and accessibility testing is an asset.
  • Knowledge of Testing Frameworks: Familiarity with the Cucumber framework (Java) and Selenium is highly desirable.
  • Test Automation Skills: Ability to write and enhance both manual and automated test cases.
  • Execution and Defect Reporting: Execute test cases diligently and report any identified defects to the development team to ensure timely resolution.
  • Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse complex issues and troubleshoot problems effectively, ensuring thorough testing and high-quality outcomes.
  • Advanced English.
