Business Development Intern-Part-time

We're looking for a part-time Business Development Intern who will research, identify, and connect with career services and workforce development organizations to utilize our AI-powered, SaaS solution for successful interview preparation. This role focuses on qualifying prospects that are committed to advancing personal development, emotional intelligence, and employment outcomes for those they serve. You’ll play a key role in delivering meaningful conversations that open doors for our sales team and empower changemakers in the career and education space.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

•    Research workforce agencies, nonprofits, colleges, and career services providers with active people development initiatives

•    Qualify leads targeting shared organizational alignment and readiness to implement technology-driven solutions that drive impact and achieve high levels of adoption

•    Conduct outreach campaigns that include email, phone, and influencer networks with benefit-driven messaging and relevant or responsive content

•    Schedule meetings and demos for the sales team with clear customer meeting objectives

•    Maintain accurate engagement records in CRM platform (Salesforce)

•    Collaborate with marketing on messaging for impact and skills-based development

•    Assist Sales Team with prospect follow-up and advancing transactions

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:  

•    1–2 years B2B or B2C development within workforce, education, or nonprofit sectors

•    Must have or be in process of pursuing a college degree at an accredited educational institution

•    Empathetic communicator with a natural curiosity in helping others address challenges

•    Comfortable asking questions and employing effective listening

•    Comfort with use of CRM platforms and lead generation tools to track and report progress

•    Motivated by technology’s ability to promote human productivity and effectiveness

•    Possess an understanding of benefit selling to a prospect’s expressed need

BONUS EXPERIENCE

•    Prior outreach to vocational programs, community colleges, or WIOA-funded initiatives

•    Demonstrated experience in strategic analysis – a market, an industry, or a system
