Overview

What We’re Looking For
CyberPoint is seeking a hands-on Hardware Systems Engineer with expertise in RF system wiring, hardware installation, electronic troubleshooting. If you're someone who can take a schematic and build a fully operational system, enjoys working with test equipment, and thrives in both lab and live environments-this role is for you.

This position is 100% onsite in Maryland and requires an active TS/SCI+FSP Security Clearance.

What You'll Do

  • Interpret wiring diagrams and technical documentation to assemble and integrate complex RF and electronic systems.
  • Design and implement hardware solutions, including schematics, mechanical layouts, cable assemblies and part lists.
  • Conduct performance testing and troubleshooting using industry-standard electronic test equipment.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to support the full lifecycle of hardware builds-from design through deployment.
  • Apply ISO/IEC 15288 system engineering principles to documentation, testing and integration efforts.
  • Support configuration management practices and system-level verification of hardware/software performance.

Qualifications

What You’ll Need

  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Active TS/SCI+FSP Clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications or a related technical field plus 6+ years of systems engineering experience (OR a High School diploma with 10+ years of relevant experience)
  • At least three (3) years of experience in the last five years in:
    • Writing and assembling RF systems based on schematics
    • Installing and integrating electronic hardware
    • Designing and developing integrated circuit boards (ICBs)
    • Using electronic test equipment and resolving hardware/software performance issues
  • Hands-on experience testing, verifying and modifying hardware and software designs to ensure proper function
  • Familiarity with both packet and circuit-based hardware/software systems and their configuration.What Will Set You Apart
    • Proven experience building multi-chassis systems and cable harnesses in support of SIGINT of mission-critical systems
    • Ability to conduct lab and field testing with minimal supervision, including system-level troubleshooting
    • Experience contributing to ISO/IEC 15288-compliant documentation and engineering process activities
    • Strong attention to detail in system configuration and documentation practices
