YOUR TASKS
The Senior Professional Special Tools is responsible for the inspection, maintenance, repair, and reordering of all specialized tools used in aircraft maintenance, ensuring their proper usability at all times. They compare repair quotes with the costs of new acquisitions and provide recommendations (new acquisition or repair) for decision-making.
Procurement of new equipment according to existing guidelines
Independent recording of equipment in the utilized systems
Communication of information about the availability of new tools using existing communication channels
Independent maintenance and upkeep of existing tools, including regular inspections and documentation checks
Reordering of spare parts in coordination with the Sourcing and Purchasing Policy
Independent organization, coordination, and execution of tool repair processes according to applicable guidelines and processes
Ensuring the proper condition of specialized and large tools at all times, initiating and tracking replacement procurement when necessary
Coordination with the Warehouse department for optimal storage and regular inspection of storage containers
Inspection of torque tools and pressure gauges
Cross-departmental coordination, control, and quality assurance in the performance of professional tasks
Coordination with the Work Preparation and Maintenance departments for optimal sorting (kitting, etc.) and conducting receiving inspections for tools and tool kits, if necessary
Coordination with the HSE department to ensure compliance with testing regulations and workplace safety regulations
Ensuring the availability of manufacturer's instructions and additional information
Maintenance of the tool catalog and content lists
Participation in cross-functional projects
YOUR PROFILE
Specialized vocational training or extensive relevant work experience in aviation technical companies
Minimum of four years of work experience in the Tooling, GSE, or Maintenance field
Inspection and release of tools and aircraft components
Experience in using Boeing and Airbus manuals, particularly in the maintenance and tools area
Good knowledge of MS Office, TRAX, and AMOS
Excellent German language skills
Excellent English language skills
Organizational skills, teamwork skills
Ability to work independently
Good communication skills
Good manual skills
