Tasks and Responsibilities

The Graphic Designer will be a key part of the recently formed Creative Services team, part of the European Marketing function. In collaboration with an existing Graphic Designer and a specialist Video Producer, this individual will provide creative support to various departments within DHL Express, producing high quality, impactful and on-brand creative for use across Europe.

This individual will focus particularly on graphic design and branding, managing a busy content schedule, juggling simultaneous projects whilst delivering high quality content against tight deadlines.

· Work with internal clients and outside vendors to develop and produce a wide range of creative materials adhering to the DHL brand guidelines.

· Collaborate with internal clients and colleagues to ensure that deadlines are met.

· Develop and manage creative projects from initial creative brief to implementation with little supervision.

· Manage the production workflow associated with creative development for assigned projects while adhering to timelines.

· Maintain organisation of creative assets for easy identification by Marketing team members.

· Obtain quotes from multiple vendors – with ability to evaluate and make recommendations.

Your Profile - Skillsets and Attributes

· A relevant degree (e.g. Graphic Design) and/or professional qualification (e.g. Chartered Society of Designers, International Society of Typographical Designers) would be preferred.

· Proficient in English with additional European languages a significant plus

· 3 - 5 years’ experience as a graphic designer

· Current with the latest Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Premier and or iMovie).

· Experience with motion graphics/animation through Adobe After Effects

· Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual/visual ability and originality

· Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio

· Confident with the ability to interact, communicate and present ideas to teammates, managers and executives.

· Experience within a corporate in-house creative department, or equivalent experience working on global brands agency-side

· Print and pre-press experience is a must

· HTML experience a must

· CSS and Java Script a plus

· Experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously often under tight deadlines
