In this job you will:

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Collections Supervisor to lead our collections team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the collections process, managing team performance, and ensuring the timely collection of outstanding debts while maintaining strong customer relationships. In a fast-paced environment, where every day is different, you'll have the autonomy to make decisions and be able to continually grow professionally.  

  • Supervise and lead the collections team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high performance and effective debt recovery strategies.
  • Ensure Continuous improvement of Collections Functions
  • Manage the collections process for overdue accounts, including contacting customers and resolving disputes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer inquiries and issues related to collections.
  • Analyse accounts receivable aging reports to identify trends and develop strategies for reducing outstanding debts.
  • Partner with the customer to develop a customer focused approach to collections and maintenance of customers
  • Complete ledger reviews, reporting on Oracle and excel and collections.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience supervising a team
  • Minimum 5 years credit environment including master data & allocations experience
  • Superior communication and negotiation skills
  • Proven leadership capabilities
  • Advanced Excel experience
  • Analytical nature and process driven personality with a keen sense of urgency
