Job Summary
The family of Professional Associate (PA) positions in the Office of Integrity (ORI) coordinate the business of the ORI and Institutional Review Boards (IRB) by screening, preparing, and distributing protocol review documentation, coordinating review meetings, preparing post-meeting follow-up correspondence, conducting quality assurance/improvement site visits, facilitating reliance agreements, ensuring reviewers and researchers receive appropriate education regarding the protection of human participants and federal regulations and maintaining the integrity of human subjects research and the overall human research protections program (HRPP) at the University of Kentucky. Professional Associates (PAs) serve as information resources for IRB members, researchers, faculty advisors, and study personnel.
