Job Description:
Fibertek, Inc. seeks a Facilities Manager to support our Army customer at Fort Belvoir, VA.
Job Requirements:
Manages the operation and maintenance of customer’s building(s) and grounds.
Communicates with customer daily to facilitate operation services and support requirements.
Performs regular inspections of facilities to ensure heating, air conditioning, plumbing, electrical systems and elevators are in proper working condition.
Provides technical advice and addresses issues related to service and support, infrastructure planning, maintenance, structural, security, safety, and environmental requirements.
Coordinates requirements, quotes, schedules, work orders and in-house or vendor execution of both minor renovations such as reconfiguring office layouts, flooring replacement, painting, and major demolitions and renovation of office space and utilities.
Coordinates with the Garrison and its vendors as required.
Reviews cost and assures that all services and support provided are responsive and adequate to the needs of the customer.
Reviews quality of work performed by the Facilities team and outside vendors.
Follows all safety protocol and protection measures; assists with or advises safety inspections as required.
Assists other facilities maintenance team members in projects as required. May include event set up/tear down, snow removal, etc.
Coordinates work and reporting with team.
Maintains a Top Secret/SCI Clearance
Must possess 15 years of experience supporting Government installations and infrastructure.
