Description:

The Work Tool Inventory Coordinator is responsible for managing work tool inventory to support new equipment sales and rental operations throughout the state. This position's duties are 50% indoors (computer work) and 50% outdoors (physical labor actually laying eyes on equipment and attachments).


WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Review target stocking and inventory listing and determining materials for stock replenishment weekly
  • Generate, transmit, and monitor Work Tool orders (regular and special orders) for Cat and allied vendors
  • Receipt of goods for all work tool orders, stock replenishment, and special orders
  • Coordinate all Little Rock inbound and outbound work tool shipments
  • Coordinate and schedule anticipated rental fleet work tool needs with Rental Fleet Asset Manager
  • Conduct quarterly inventory counts
  • Provide backup assistance for work tool pricing and availability
  • Review inventory age data, making recommendations for stocking level adjustments
  • Load and unload equipment attachments
  • Recognize problems/damage due to machine application and usage
  • Work with all departments to coordinate attachment inventory, placement, and inspections
  • Assist drivers in arrangement of dispatched loads
  • Maintain all records of shipped and received attachments
  • Maintain database of attachment inventory including locations







Requirements:

WHAT YOU'LL NEED


  • Requires general knowledge of heavy equipment and work tools
  • This position requires the ability to provide accurate information to management for inventory and stocking needs
  • Must be able to obtain or currently possess forklift driver certification
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years related experience and/or training.
  • Effective communication skills
  • Basic to intermediate computer skills, including email, excel, and iPad apps
  • Flexibility to work various schedules including shift work, required overtime and on-call.

The employee is frequently required to climb or balance. The employee is frequently required to perform office/clerical work. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee is routinely lifting up to 20 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.



The employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; outside weather conditions; extreme cold and extreme heat. The employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock and vibration.
