Position Summary

This is an ONSITE position located in Washington, D.C.

NCC is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Broadcast and Multimedia Specialist to lead the Audio/Visual (A/V) operations supporting the U.S. Department of the Interior's mission-critical communications. These include high-profile events such as live-streamed press conferences, video conferencing, signing ceremonies, satellite broadcasts, and other productions. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, operational leadership, and a strong customer service orientation to ensure seamless production and broadcast services in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Operate and maintain all technical systems and solutions related to the CSE Audio/Visual (A/V) and Advanced Network (AN) systems environment.
  • Provide full system administration and oversight for A/V and AN systems, ensuring optimal functionality and performance.
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on all associated hardware and software components.
  • Maintain and update all system documentation, ensuring accuracy and availability for current configurations, procedures, and support processes.
  • Track and manage all service and support requests related to A/V and AN systems.
  • Support installation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of all A/V and AN system hardware.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and implementing system modifications to improve performance or resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain inventory and lifecycle tracking of all equipment related to A/V and AN systems.
  • Deliver high-level production support, including expert assistance in audio/video production, post-production, and streaming media workflows.
  • Ensure timely setup and operation of audio conferencing bridges and collaboration platforms.
  • Supervise the configuration and operation of conference and meeting room systems, including projectors, microphones, mixing consoles, digital control systems, cameras, and lighting.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and technical teams to ensure consistent, on-time delivery of A/V services for all events and meetings.

Minimum Requirements

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance (must pass a background and credit check).
  • High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 additional years of experience in a similar field.
  • 10+ years of Audio Visual and Video Production experience.
  • Working knowledge of networking AV equipment.

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)

  • Bachelors Degree.
  • Experience with video editing and post-production workflows.
  • Knowledge of AV control systems such as AMX and/or Crestron audio visual 

Special Position Requirements

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7AM-4PM, with the possibility of weekend hours if requested by the customer.

Environment/Physical Demands: Standing for periods of time, walking throughout campus to each conference room/event space, ability to be mobile to perform above duties.
