Antech Systems is seeking an entry-level Project Coordinator to join our IT/Software team, with a desire to work towards becoming a Project Manager.
Candidate must be a U.S Citizen living in or near the Chesapeake, VA area with the ability to acquire a Security Clearance.
Responsibilities
Maintain and monitor SKED software installation upgrades for the US Navy fleet and shore activities
Coordinate and interact with customers in preparation for migrating to the updated software
Facilitate communication with the application support team performing the installation upgrades
Provide written status updates to leadership and stakeholders
Document reports, meeting notes, and deliverables
Maintain a detailed and organized file and records system
Develop a technical understanding of products and communicate effectively between technical and non-technical teams
Required Skills
Polished verbal and written communication, including consistent and correct use of tense, grammar, spelling, and terminology
Extreme organizational skills with razor-sharp attention to detail
Adaptable and Innovative individual with a propensity for problem solving, critical thinking, and effective questioning
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Motivated, disciplined, task-driven individual capable of working independently
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate and work effectively within cross-functional teams
Exceptional time-management with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines
Education & Experience
A degree in a technical or related field (Business, Computer Science, Project Management, etc.) or 3+ years of professional experience preferred but not required
Military experience or knowledge of the Navy's Planned Maintenance System is a plus
Experience with JIRA / Attlassian suite a plus
Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000
