Job Description:

The Infrastructure Support Manager will have broad responsibility for infrastructure operations and systems administration of platforms installed globally supporting DOS systems and services. This includes management of infrastructure operations and maintenance within the domestic data centers, ither domestic site locations, and overseas at posts. The Infrastructure Support Manager will ensure the operation of the enterprise meets defined infrastructure service levels. The Infrastructure Support Manager will oversee operations and technical teams at multiple geographically dispersed data centers comprised of varied infrastructure, including converged server/storage solutions, at various domestic and international locations. The  Infrastructure Support Manager shall be responsible for optimizing, standardizing, and improving storage solutions, including facilitating migrations to cloud environments.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate, develop and/or implement infrastructure operations guidelines and procedures as required.

  • Lead teams of Infrastructure personnel performing functions including, but not limited to, the following areas: network services, platform services, storage services, application services, cloud services

  • Be accountable for medium to large complexity projects and their results.

  • Lead efforts to assist project and support teams, including cloud migration teams, in determining client requirements and translating requirements into executable plans.

  • Recommend infrastructure solutions, modifications, and other enhancements supporting highly available, resilient infrastructure guidelines in addition to other customer requirements.

  • Ensure all systems/applications are maintained in accordance with cybersecurity requirements

  • Identify, report, and resolve infrastructure issues and other infrastructure incidents.

  • Establish and satisfy infrastructure requirements, including proactive capacity management, based upon the analysis of user, policy, regulatory, and resource demands.

  • Have experience deciphering and responding to results from various types of vulnerability and assessment scans with multiple tools to aid in collaboration with the cybersecurity teams and client stakeholders

  • Collaborate with peers and employees in other departments to improve service availability, reliability, resiliency, and security compliance.

  • Lead team members and create individual development plans

  • Monitor and review the regular updates/upgrades to policies, tools, equipment and procedures to maintain pace with program requirements and business needs.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Applicants must possess a Top Secret security clearance

  • Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must continually meet eligibility requirements.

  • U. S. Citizenship required per government contract.

  • BS and 12+ years of prior relevant experience working with various infrastructure support technologies and solutions, or similar role. Alternatively, hold a Masters with 10+ years of aforementioned experience.  Additional years of relevant experience may be substituted for a degree requirement.

  • Current PMP Certification is required.

  • 7+ years leading a team of professionals

  • 7+ years of experience managing and overseeing large enterprise grade operations and projects for infrastructure, systems, and applications at multiple geographically dispersed locations with geographically dispersed teams

  • 7+ years directly supporting and leading teams and driving technical resources maintaining, operating and troubleshooting infrastructure operations capabilities and technologies, including server farms, networking infrastructure, storage solutions (including hyperconverged platforms), virtualization platforms, and others as may be required.

  • ITIL foundation level certification (or higher)

  • Understanding of hardware and software engineering best practices, including associated cybersecurity implications and baseline cybersecurity compliance

  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience collaborating with diverse stakeholders to drive consensus and forward progress.

  • Ability to identify needed changes to processes and activities and help to implement continuous improvement solutions.

  • Ability to both work and coordinate team members’ efforts successfully as part of a virtual team.

Pay Range:

Pay Range $148,850.00 - $269,075.00
