Warehouse Shift Manager - Military veterans preferred

Shift patterns: Monday - Friday - rotational shifts - 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm
Location: Redhill, RH1 5EH

We're now looking for a Warehouse Shift Manager

?A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Plan, manage and adjust staffing levels to meet operational requirements.
• Ensure all contractual and operational commitments are met or exceeded.
• Deliver team member performance reviews, development and/or succession planning as appropriate.
• Facilitate effective communication.
• Manage all disciplinary and grievance issues (complaints) in line with HR policy.
• Ensure compliance to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
• Ensure compliance with Site Audits in achieving set targets.
• Management of absence to ensure RTW and improvement plans are in place and adhered to.
• Ensure Budget levels are met or improved

• Excellent organisational skills
• Previous experience of team management within a warehouse environment
• Good analytical and numerical skills
• Excellent interpersonal, leadership, motivation and planning skills
• Excellent communicator (verbal & written)
• Knowledge of Health & Safety requirements
• Computer literate
