YOUR TASKS
The Structure Engineer is responsible for the CAMO Engineering-related maintenance of the airworthiness of the aircraft structure.
Providing engineering and troubleshooting support for the maintenance operation to ensure the technical condition and availability of aircraft for operation, as well as offering technical assistance to other departments
Collaborating in the creation and modification of the aircraft maintenance program
Assisting in the development of the work package for Base Maintenance
Reviewing the Base Maintenance Report and proposing adjustments to the maintenance program if necessary
Identifying and resolving recurring issues with the aircraft structure
Reviewing, analyzing, and creating specific work instructions or maintenance procedures based on manufacturer guidelines and/or aviation authorities (Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives)
Tracking inspections or modifications and maintenance tasks carried out during operation
Conducting technical projects within the scope of responsibility
Generating necessary reports in the event of conducted technical investigations or analyses
Responsibility for incident/failure investigations related to the aircraft structure.
Responsibility for the Dent & Buckle Chart and documentation of repairs in the aircraft life record.
Definition and optimization of departmental internal processes.
Participation in cross-departmental projects.
YOUR PROFILE
Completed degree program and several years of relevant professional work experience or many years of relevant professional work experience as aerospace engineer or similar
Minimum 2 years of experience in aircraft, structure maintenance
Very good knowledge of English and German
Good knowledge of IT tools (Office products)
TRAX knowledge highly desirable
Systematic and analytical thinking
Able to work under stress
Motivated, flexible and reliable
Capable of autonomous work
High level of accuracy
Ability to work in teams
