Job Title: Card Services BSA Specialist (On-Site Position), Monday-Friday (8AM-5PM)
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical BSA Specialist – Card Services to ensure compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML) regulations, and related laws within our card services operations. This role will be responsible for monitoring transactions, investigating suspicious activity, and supporting a culture of compliance across internal and third-party partners.
BSA Compliance Monitoring: Ensure compliance with BSA, AML, OFAC, and internal policies within card services.
Transaction Monitoring: Analyze cardholder activity to detect unusual transactions, fraud, or high-risk behavior.
Customer Due Diligence (CDD): Conduct CDD and enhanced due diligence to assess customer risk.
Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR): Prepare and file timely and accurate SARs based on investigative findings.
Investigations: Conduct reviews of potential fraud or suspicious activity, document findings, and recommend actions.
Third-Party Oversight: Evaluate and monitor third-party vendors involved in card operations for regulatory compliance.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive records for all investigations, reporting, and compliance activities.
Risk Assessment: Participate in risk assessments related to card services and third-party providers.
Training and Awareness: Provide guidance and training to internal teams and partners on BSA/AML requirements.
Reporting: Prepare reports and summaries for senior management and regulatory agencies.
Policy and Procedure Maintenance: Monitor regulatory changes and help update internal procedures accordingly.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with legal, compliance, and vendor teams to ensure coordinated compliance efforts.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field (relevant work experience may also be considered).
Knowledge of BSA/AML regulations, OFAC, and related regulatory frameworks.
Strong analytical and investigative skills.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.
High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Prior experience in a BSA/AML compliance role within financial services is a plus.
