Overview

Diné Development Corporation (DDC) is seeking a highly analytical and strategic Senior Business Intelligence Specialist to lead data-driven decision-making across Finance, HR, and Business Development functions. This role is critical to transforming complex datasets into actionable insights and intuitive dashboards that support executive leadership and operational teams—particularly within the government contracting space.



Responsibilities

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify business needs and translate them into data models and reporting solutions.
  • Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
  • Analyze trends across financial performance, workforce metrics, and business development pipelines to support strategic planning.
  • Lead data integration efforts across disparate systems (ERP, HRIS, CRM) to ensure a unified reporting environment.
  • Provide mentorship to junior analysts and contribute to BI best practices and governance.
  • Collaborate with compliance and security teams to ensure data handling aligns with government contracting regulations.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Information Systems, Finance, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in business intelligence or data analytics, preferably in a GovCon or regulated industry.
  • Proficiency in SQL, DAX (Data Analysis Expressions), and data visualization platforms (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of operations, financial, HR, and business development data structures.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • US citizen with ability to pass a standard background check.
  • Limited travel may be required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

  • Experience with government contract reporting (e.g., DCAA, FAR compliance).
  • Familiarity with tools like Snowflake, Azure Synapse, or similar cloud data platforms.
  • Exposure to predictive analytics or machine learning frameworks is a plus.
