Research Assistant



The University of Pittsburgh Department of Emergency Medicine is looking for multiple individuals to assist on multiple research studies. While health care experience is not required, ideal candidates would have experience in health care settings as first responders, patient care technicians, nurses, or other allied health positions. While not required, ideal candidates would also have prior experience working on research study protocols and familiarity with research databases like REDCap. While not required, ideal candidates would have prior experience working with various software programs often used to process, analyze, and/or visualize research data. Some candidates will be asked to work in the evening, overnight, and/or on the weekend – thus a flexible work schedule is required. Candidates should have excellent communication skills, be able to work on a team, and comfortable with working with deadlines.


HS Diploma/GED is required and a Bachelor's degree is Preferred.
