Study Coordinator



The University of Pittsburgh Department of Emergency Medicine is looking for a study coordinator / lab manager to assist with multiple projects that include in-lab protocols investigating sleep loss in human study subjects. Prior experience working with research teams in a University setting is desired. Prior experience working with large teams of student research assistants and multiple investigators is desired. Prior experience using different types of non-invasive monitoring devices is desired (e.g., ambulatory blood pressure monitoring devices). Prior experience using different types of computer software programs for research purposes such as REDCap is desired. Assisting the investigators with monitoring study data and doing data quality checks are expected. Tracking use of materials and when to order new disposables for various devices is an essential task. Assisting the investigators with training student research assistants and scheduling student assistants to staff the lab is expected. Candidate must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight shifts when needed.


Bachelor's degree is Preferred
