We are seeking a full-time remote Referral Care Coordinator. This position is responsible for facilitating the care of injured workers with the provider for Paradigm Specialty Network referrals. This position also acts as a liaison with the injured worker, client, and provider to ensure the best and speediest care is provided as well as completing all reporting requirements to fulfill client’s expectations while delivering excellent customer service to all parties. The position handles phone & email inquiries from providers and/or clients with questions regarding claimants’ care and work status so must have an outstanding attention to detail, question things that do not appear correct and possess a desire to succeed and progress quickly.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service communicating via phone and email communications with clients, providers, and injured workers.
  • Act as a liaison between our clients, providers, and injured workers.
  • Follow a consistent process for the coordination of care ensuring client service level agreements are met.
  • Work closely with the providers to obtain information related to the injured workers care, i.e., attendance, future appointments, medical notes from visits or operative report from surgery.
  • Reschedule missed appointments.
  • Provide client with timely information, reporting, and status updates.
  • Work closely with interdepartmental operations staff to effectively manage referrals i.e., escalate delays in care or timely medical reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and phone presence.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Acute attention to detail.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office and computer application systems.

The schedule for this position is Monday – Friday, 8a to 5p EST.
