Description:

The Finance Coordinator supports the Finance Manager in the execution of equipment financing processes, documentation, and communication with customers and finance partners. This role assists in preparing and submitting financing applications, coordinating documentation, and serving as a resource for the sales team on basic finance-related tasks.


WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Assist the Finance Manager in tracking and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of subsidy programs offered by Caterpillar Inc., CRSI, CFSC, and other lenders.
  • Prepare and organize financing documentation, including credit applications, installment sales contracts (ISC), and lease agreements.
  • Maintain accurate records of financing activities, approvals, and pending deals.
  • Serve as a point of contact for the sales team regarding basic questions about financing programs and application status.
  • Assist in training sales staff on how to complete financing paperwork correctly and submit documentation for approval.
  • Support communication between sales reps and financing partners when required.
  • Enter and submit financing applications under the direction of the Finance Manager.
  • Coordinate with credit and finance partners to follow up on application status, required documentation, and term sheets.
  • Collaborate with the Credit Department to ensure timely approvals and document delivery.
  • Assist with compiling monthly and quarterly reports summarizing financing volume and approval metrics.
  • Maintain updated spreadsheets and digital filing systems related to finance deals.
  • Ensure all contracts and related paperwork are signed, filed, and stored properly.


Requirements:

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Associate's degree or equivalent education; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a finance, credit, or administrative support role (experience in heavy equipment industry a plus).
  • Basic understanding of financing principles, credit applications, and financial documentation.
