 We have an exciting opportunity for an Operations Support Rep in Fort Smith, AR.

  POSITION SUMMARY: 

This position is responsible for providing support for the Operations and Construction teams for AOG.

 

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage Contracting Policy requirements
  • Manage and track procure to pay requirements
  • Create purchase orders for contract labor aligned with legal contract terms and schedules
  • Execute POs for signatures
  • Receiving to PO’s as work is completed
  • Review of gas emergency reports
  • Quarterly accruals
  • Create WO’s for emergencies and growth projects
  • Assemble construction packages for internal and external crews
  • Maintain tracking of meter change out programs
  • Disseminating construction schedules
  • Scanning of all required documents
  • Support records group and keep up with systems records.

SECONDARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  •  Create purchase requisitions for non-contract items
  • Special project support
  • Other duties as assigned

 POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

 EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE

  •  A/P or Procurement experience beneficial
  • High School Diploma or GED required, some college preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a corporate environment
  • Experience in utility and/or construction industry preferred

 KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

  •  Highly organized
  • Maintain confidential information
  • Exhibits agility and adaptability to multi-task with differing timeframes, responsibilities and people
  • Moderate skill level with Excel
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word and Outlook email & calendar
  • Exhibits high level of attention to detail
  • Willingness to assist with any request with a positive attitude
  • Effective oral and written business communication skills across various levels of the organization.
  • Must exhibit a professional personal appearance when dealing with customers, employees, contractors and vendors
  • Demonstrates a willingness to take on new tasks
  • Demonstrates a high level of dependability and reliability exhibited by being punctual and fulfilling all commitments on time and accurately
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment
