Your New Role and Responsibilities
We’re looking for a capable and collaborative End User Support Specialist to play a key role in delivering high-quality, user-focused IT support across one of our customer organisations.
Working as part of the wider End User Support team, you’ll bring your experience in building, deploying and maintaining of Windows Endpoint SOEs and application packaging/release to ensure our users are provided the best experience that is secure, reliable, consistent, and fit for purpose.
As a senior member of a cross-functional team, you’ll provide technical leadership and contribute to a culture of success in handling complex issues, mentoring, and service improvement initiatives. You’ll also help shape standard operating procedures, contribute to the known error database, and champion a shift-left strategy that improves fix-on-first contact.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver advanced support across all user-facing IT services, including Service Desk triage, priority support, walk-up Tech Bar assistance, M365 user technologies, and AV/meeting room technology support.
Manage and maintain the Endpoint SOE, including deployment, patching, and configuration of desktops, laptops, and mobile devices (including Intune-enrolled endpoints).
Package and deploy applications, using tools such as PowerShell, Intune, or other platforms; ensuring applications are tested, documented, and delivered reliably across environments.
Support hardware and software asset lifecycle and ITSM governance, including provisioning, tagging, CMDB updates, and decommissioning; contribute to process improvement and compliance activities.
Mentor team members and help build capability across both the team and our customer base through training, technical leadership, IT inductions, refresher sessions, and contributions to SOPs, knowledge base articles, and training materials.
Qualifications & Experience
Extensive experience supporting enterprise desktop and mobile platforms, with strong hands-on skills across Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, hardware, and basic networking.
Proven experience managing SOEs and application packaging, including scripting or automation using tools like PowerShell and Intune; familiarity with patch deployment and endpoint compliance.
ITIL v4 Foundation certified (or equivalent understanding), with proficiency in ITSM platforms such as Ivanti or ServiceNow; comfortable working within SLAs and contributing to service documentation.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience delivering training or onboarding sessions and supporting asset/configuration management activities.
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset, with the ability to work independently, collaborate across teams, and contribute to the success of technical outcomes.
This role does require the successful applicant to be an Australian Citizen and hold a or be able to obtain an NV1 level security clearance.
