The Client Onboarding Team is a newly-created team at Chevy Chase Trust with a goal to provide exceptional service to our clients by partnering with the client services team on opening and closing accounts.

Essential Job Functions of the Client Onboarding Associate:

  • Prepare and deliver New Account Documents to Clients (via DocuSign and/or hard copy mail)
  • Open new accounts
  • Initiate account transfers of incoming assets
  • Reconcile account transfer by verifying assets, cost, and acquisition date of new assets
  • Close accounts
  • Submit account closings for processing
  • Initiate distribution of assets
  • Reconcile Assets Distributed
  • Coordinate with key stake holders for opening and closing accounts
  • Participate and oversee the completion of special projects such as (but not limited to):
  • Data clean up
  • Updating policies and procedures for the client services team

Supervisory Responsibilities
  • This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

Required Skills and Abilities of the Client Onboarding Associate:

  • Possess a proactive and positive approach to the new/closing account process
  • Highly effective written and oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail and strong organization skills
  • General knowledge of investment products
  • Problem solving skills
  • Ability to follow through on projects in a timely manner
  • Ability to multitask and manage high volumes of work in a fast-paced environment

Required Education / Experience of the Client Onboarding Associate:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 3 years of related work experience
  • UNITY and FIS Accounting system experience preferred, but not required

Working Conditions/Physical Requirements
  • This position is based in an office environment with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Travel
  • This position does not require travel.

The actual base pay offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, years of relevant experience, distinctive skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held. Base pay is one component of Chevy Chase Trust's total compensation package, which also includes access to or eligibility for healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, bonus plans and more.
