How you will make an impact:
This temporary position supports the Finance team during the implementation of the JD Edwards (JDE) ERP system. The role requires a strong focus on financial accuracy, data integrity, and cross-functional collaboration. The analyst will play a key role in ensuring financial processes, reporting, and controls are effectively transitioned and aligned with the new ERP system.

  • Analyze and summarize financial data to report on performance, identify trends, and forecast future expectations.

  • Prepare monthly financial reports with detailed variance and trend analysis to support business leaders.

  • Support ERP transition (JDE) by assisting with standard costing, data validation, and financial system integration.

  • Develop and track KPIs to drive improved financial results and support strategic initiatives.

  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes, including weekly forecasts, annual budgets, and strategic plans.

  • Collaborate with cost center owners to ensure accurate budgeting and reprioritize spending as needed.

  • Support expense and project justification by evaluating financial impact and alignment with budget.

  • Provide temporary coverage and cross-training within the Nashua finance team during the ERP rollout.

Knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field or commensurate experience.

  • Minimum five years of experience working in Finance with emphasis on budgeting, financial analysis and forecasting.

  • Strong Microsoft Office software skills – Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills as well as the ability to identify financial opportunities that support company profitability.

  • Strong analytical and financial planning skills.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with an ability to demonstrate and maintain suitability for employment in a position of Public Trust consistent with our US Government contract requirements.
