Physical Requirements
This position requires occasional lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects up to 50 pounds and loading and/or unloading supplies and materials onto carts. Sitting at a computer workstation for extended periods of time and repetitive motion tasks.
Shift
Primarily Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.; some weekends and evening activities may be required as needed.
Job Summary
The Martin-Gatton College of Agriculture, Food and Environment, Family and Consumer Sciences Extension Unit is seeking to hire three Nutrition Education Program Assistants in Jefferson County. These positions are responsible for delivering direct, evidence-based nutrition and food preparation education to EFNEP audiences, collecting and reporting evaluation data, and actively recruiting and enrolling program participants. Successful candidates will also build and maintain community partnerships and contribute to ongoing program improvement through professional development. These positions are housed at the Jefferson County Extension Office and supported on soft funds.
