The Senior Manager will be responsible for gathering lessons learned, identifying and uplifting best and promising practices, and providing technical assistance related to expanding access to and participation in the School Breakfast Program. This individual will help support the strategic direction of the organization’s school breakfast work, including helping to develop and implement a plan to scale the adoption of effective breakfast models across the country. The Senior Manager will also be primarily responsible for creating resources (e.g., toolkits, 1-pagers, case studies), hosting webinars, and leading training on the topic of school breakfast. Additionally, they will provide technical assistance and support to colleagues, school and school nutrition staff, partners, and state agency staff.
This position requires a high-performing individual capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic, collaborative organization. The ideal candidate is a critical and strategic thinker, has strong subject matter expertise and outstanding interpersonal skills, and is proactive, ambitious, and organized.
This position is preferably based in Washington, D.C.; but could be fully remote for the right candidate living outside of the DC area. The position offers a salary range of $81k to $87k. Exact compensation within the stated salary range may vary based on skills, experience, internal equity, and geographical location.
