The coordinator, under the supervision of the Associate Director for Fundraising Data Management, is responsible for executing practices to maintain timely data in Raiser’s Edge, Share Our Strength database of record for all donor information. This includes running daily and ad-hoc gift imports, frequent bulk data import requests, and managing one off updates to constituent records. The coordinator will also assist the department with executing various data cleanup processes and project implementations as needed. The coordinator will be expected to learn best practices in data management, be able to identify issues in their daily processes that need to be addressed, and exercise professionalism and discretion in working with confidential information.

This position is preferably based in Washington D.C.; but could be fully remote for the right candidate living outside of the D.C. area. The position offers salary range of $55k-$58k. Exact compensation within the stated salary range may vary based on skills, experience, internal equity, and geographical location.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Bulk Imports

  • Execute daily, weekly and monthly gift imports from various platforms (Blackbaud’s Luminate, OneCause, Universe, etc.) into Raiser’s Edge.
  • Execute imports of constituent-related data into Raiser’s Edge, by request of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Conduct quality control on imports so as to identify issues with import tasks under their responsibility, conducting initial investigation and raising them up for quality control review.

Ticket Processes

  • Complete requests from stakeholders for one off changes to constituent records, communicating barriers to completion and following established procedures.
  • Serve as backup for other Fundraising Data Management team functions, including constituent imports typically handled by the Associate, Fundraising Data Management

Project and Data Hygiene Assistance

  • Support the Fundraising Data Management team with data hygiene initiatives and project implementations, including but not limited to supporting large scale data clean up efforts, annual duplicate merge reviews and import testing.
  • Makes recommendations to the department lead on potential new data improvement projects that have been identified by colleague feedback, regular data review or departmental needs.
  • Perform other administrative assignments as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to communicate by phone, via email, or chat to build relationships with team members across the Revenue, Development and Growth team.
  • The ability to empathize with our stakeholders in a genuine way that lets them know you care about their issues.
  • A team player attitude that can follow and lead as situations dictate.
  • A demonstrated ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, including handling interruptions, and return to and complete tasks in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrate integrity, ingenuity and inventiveness in the performance of assigned tasks.
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office suite.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communications (including verbal and written) skills and cultural competencies, underscored by strong emotional intelligence.
  • Experience with Raiser’s Edge, Luminate, or Asana.
