GTMR has an opening for a United States Government (USG) Facilities Manager (FM). Position is responsible for the occupancy management, maintenance, and physical security of a USG building aboard Naval Air Station (NAS) Patuxent River, MD.   

FM position is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the USG building. Duties include coordinating custodial/maintenance/repair efforts with USG Public Works (PW), as well as commercial vendors for the building’s electrical, water, plumbing, cooling, heating, security alarms, and communication (internet and land-line phone) systems. Occupancy management entails assigning/managing cubicle and office space. FM is responsible for the building’s Audio Visual (AV) equipment to ensure AV systems are operational prior to unclassified/classified meetings.

FM position is responsible for drafting the building’s Operational Security (OPSEC) Plan, Emergency Action Plan (EAP), Emergency Evacuation Plan (EEP), and Communication Security (COMSEC) Plan. Position is responsible for securing/maintaining the building’s COMSEC material.

FM position is responsible for the physical security of the building to include supervising Access Control procedures for both permanently assigned personnel and visitors. Duties include maintaining the building alarm systems, issuing building access swipe cards, and providing Building Indoctrination briefs. FM conducts Security, Education, Training, and Awareness (SETA) training and Physical-Security briefings. Position performs facility self-inspections ensuring compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) codes and USG security requirements.

Required Clearance: Current Secret with ability to obtain TS/SCI eligibility.    

Required Qualifications: Ten-years of FM experience. Knowledge of physical security, information security, COMSEC, SETA, Visit Certification processes, USG PW procedures, and OSHA and other federal/state regulations. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, & PowerPoint). Candidate must exhibit outstanding customer service, as well as have strong project management, problem solving, and communication skills.

Desired Qualifications: Master’s degree in business administration, Industrial Engineering or Industrial Management.
