Position Overview:

Join us in elevating the vibrant community hub LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch, where your marketing efforts will directly contribute to bringing people together and champion a dynamic mix of national, regional and local businesses. As a Marketing Associate, you will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that drive consumer awareness, increase traffic and boost sales for the shopping center’s tenants. 

Key responsibilities:

  • Event Planning: Plan and execute events and promotions that attract and engage consumers, including a signature holiday event and annual pet festival. 
  • Community Engagement: Establish collaborative relationships with local community groups.
  • Content Management: Manage all center communications, including content creation, scheduling and engagement, for customer newsletters, social media channels and website.
  • Campaign Creation: Develop and implement marketing campaigns across various channels including digital, social media, email, and print.
  • Tenant Relations: Build authentic connections with retailers across local, regional, and corporate levels to drive sales success and create lasting partnerships that keep our tenants thriving.
  • Sponsorship Activation: Bring sponsor partnerships to life from on-site brand moments to paid media placements sold by our corporate team—making every experience seamless, scroll-worthy, and ROI-ready.
  • Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze marketing performance metrics to optimize campaigns and report on results. 

This position will office at LaCenterra at Cinco Ranch with direct reporting to the Consumer Marketing Manager and indirect reporting to the center’s property manager.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in marketing, preferably in shopping center, retail, or multi-channel environments. Local knowledge is a plus.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that integrate digital, traditional, and experiential elements to drive consumer engagement and tenant success.
  • Experience managing end-to-end marketing programs, including branding, public relations, events, sponsorships, and community outreach.
  • Strong understanding of offline marketing tactics, such as print advertising, direct mail, out-of-home (OOH) campaigns, and event marketing.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including property management, tenants, and external vendors, to ensure cohesive execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Proficiency in marketing software and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media management tools, email marketing platforms) and familiarity with traditional marketing tools and processes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build authentic relationships with tenants, sponsors, and community partners.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and adapt strategies to meet the needs of diverse audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to measure the effectiveness of marketing efforts across all channels and adjust strategies to optimize results.
  • Experience in event planning and execution, including large-scale events, community activations, and sponsorship integrations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making
