Trouble shooting and maintenance of Hexagon software, technical support, installation, and configuration of same, SQL Server Database Maintenance, data loading, backup, and purging
General duties such as installing operating system service packs and maintaining user accounts and deploying system and file updates
Participation in upgrades, maintenance releases and service packs is expected
Assisting customer network and IT staff in supplying initial technical support to end-users, the resident will coordinate with Hexagon Support Analysts when resolving system and software issues
Informal training for customer staff in system administration activities as well as maintaining detailed documentation on the system and configuration will also be required
Actual end-user training is not within the scope of this position
Qualifications
Degree desired, but not required if candidate has equivalent years of experience in related field
This position requires strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both with a team and independently with good communications skills, written and verbal
Must be able to pass and maintain favorable background check
