Job Summary
The Pediatric Trauma Outreach and Education Coordinator assumes the leadership role in the planning, development, and implementation of all Pediatric trauma related education programs to achieve comprehensive and integrated trauma care. This position will coordinate all ATLS and RTTDC courses and other courses as deemed necessary and are coordinated through the Trauma Program Office. Collaborates with internal/external disciplines to assure educational needs/offerings are planned accordingly and aligns with the values of diversity, innovation, respect, compassion, and teamwork. This individual will be responsible for the planning and execution of the yearly Statewide Trauma and Emergency Medicine Symposium in collaboration with other Kentucky Level 1 Trauma Centers. Will demonstrate professional education practice through facility needs as well as at a state, regional, and national level per American College of Surgeon requirements as a Level I Trauma Center.

Bachelor’s Degree, three years relevant trauma/critical experience/knowledge.
